Join us for the annual Love From Lincoln, Wave of Light Remembrance Walk at the IRSC Training Complex.
Healthy Start Coalition of St. Lucie County, in partnership with Love From Lincoln, will provide resources for grieving families that have experienced a pregnancy loss, still birth, or infant loss.
The Day of Remembrance Walk is a meaningful event hosted by Healthy Start in partnership with Love From Lincoln and Indian River State College, which graciously serves as the host location. Held on October 15, this event coincides with the global Wave of Light, a worldwide observance in which families honor babies lost too soon by lighting candles and coming together in remembrance.
Locally, families who have experienced loss, along with friends, supporters, and community partners, gather in a spirit of love and unity. Participants walk along a designated trail on campus, ending at the Eternal Flame for a time of reflection to honor the lives of these babies.
This shared experience creates a space for connection, healing, and remembrance, reminding families that they are not alone.
Funds raised through the walk, as well as throughout the year, go directly toward supporting local families by helping cover funeral expenses for their babies, easing some of the financial burden during an incredibly difficult time.
